iMac Photo Booth

Our friends Parker and Beth came over last night to show me how to use my new iMac computer. The kids and I played with the Photo Booth application tonight and they had so much fun! Look for the scary scary Rachel in one of the photos...she keeps telling me...me no like the white one. LOL

Made in China

"Why is everything made in China?" Jack asks.

" I don't know honey. Pretty silly we don't have things made from here in the US?" Mom replies

" Ya. This toy is made in China, my shoes are made in China, the piggy bank I have at home is made in China, and lots of other stuff I've seen" Jack said.

"Um-hmm" Mom agrees.

" Man those China people are really busy people.  They make a lot of stuff. They make toys and shoes...and they sometimes even make Volkswagen's." Jack said

How cute is that! And very observant that he sees how much stuff we use and realizes that China people are busy and must work hard. I love the part about Volkswagen's...not sure where he got that idea..but it works!

The Big 30

Yup, I turned 30 last week. I had a great birthday and my party was awesome!

Jet Truck

We went to the drag races out at the Tulsa Raceway. It was my first drag races. It was pretty neat. The average speed of the cars was 275 mph. Some went faster though! The cars were so loud and so fast that as they roared by the inside of your chest rattled. We all had fun and at the end of the night we got to see something very unusual--The Jet Truck! It was a semi-truck powered by jet engine.
